Which of your blog posts is your favorite?
I have so many, but my favorite posts are the ones where I talk about my self-care and my health journeys. I enjoy reading them because I have days where I may have setbacks, and reading those posts are daily reminders for me to brush my shoulders off, get back at it, do the best you can, and stick with it.
What’s keeping you busy these days?
At the moment, I am pursuing my BA in Communication Studies from Ashford University, as well as doing my job while working from home since March. Other times, working on my passions like writing, blogging, and art.
What’s something that recently made you happy?
Seeing this nomination 😍😍😍 and spending time with Mom watching Hamilton on DisneyPlus, awesome musical!!!
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?
My friend told me that I’m a unique person that is creative, a free-spirit, and someone that is very loyal. Even though I may seem shy and quiet at first, I’ll warm up to you once you get to know me. My family will tell you that I’m goofy, and that I have a laid back personality, and that I am such a big kid at heart.
If you could teach one subject in school what would it be?
Journaling, I’ve always kept a journal ever since I was little. I just started back journaling a few weeks ago, and during that time, I’m learning more and more about myself as a person. I love it because it helps me see what triggers my depression, how I’ve grown as a person, crazy thoughts that run through my head, it’s like reading a good novel for me.
